Laura Kamas is a member of Howrey's Construction practice. Ms. Kamas assists owners and general contractors at all stages of the construction process in both private and public projects. Her practice focuses on the resolution of complex construction disputes, including claims for non-payment, design errors, defective construction, and delay and impact. She has first-chaired matters in both arbitration and litigation and is experienced in discovery and motions practice. Ms. Kamas also has experience in insurance coverage litigation and advises clients concerning insurance and risk management issues. She has assisted clients in obtaining coverage under both Builders Risk and Commercial General Liability policies.

- Hunt Construction Group, Inc. Represented construction manager with respect to both claims and mechanic's liens brought by multiple subcontractors arising out of the construction of a hotel.
