Christina Guerola Sarchio specializes in commercial litigation, antitrust and white collar criminal defense matters, with a particular focus on representing corporate clients in federal and state courts in multi-district class action and private litigation concerning criminal and civil antitrust matters; fraud; business torts; contract disputes and franchise/dealer terminations. She has defended corporate and individual clients in criminal investigations, served as lead or co-counsel in numerous jury and bench trials and has participated significantly in several arbitrations. Ms. Sarchio has substantial experience with major enterprises in the oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, beer, tobacco and consumer products industries.

Ms. Sarchio was selected by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of "2008's Twenty Elite Women." Ms. Sarchio also received GW Law's 2008 Belva Lockwood Woman of the Year Award. She was named one of the Top Washington Lawyers in the "Young Guns" category by The Washington Business Journal in 2007 and was selected as one of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics” in the US in 2006 by Hispanic Business magazine.

Ms. Sarchio serves as the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Vice President for External Affairs and past President of the Hispanic Bar Association of DC, which under her stewardship, received the 2006 “Best Affiliate of the Year” award from the Hispanic National Bar Association.

A partner since 2004, Ms. Sarchio began her career at Howrey in 2000. She is a former prosecutor with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, has taught as an Adjunct Professor and provided on-air legal commentary on a variety of legal topics.

  • Nestlé USA. Currently representing chocolate manufacturer in class actions alleging international price-fixing.
  • Basic Research. Currently representing consumer products manufacturer in two class action lawsuits in New Jersey state court alleging consumer fraud and false advertising for two of its biggest-selling over the counter products.
  • Trelleborg AB. Currently representing foreign parent and two of its subsidiaries located in the US and France in a Department of Justice, Antitrust Division’s criminal investigation alleging international price-fixing and bid-rigging.
